One of the best nights out in LA this time of year before they open it to the slog of idling SUV’s is the walking tour of the lights through the Park. The music, the chill air, the Guinness we snuck into our hot chocolate cups, the kids frolicking and you follow them by their glow stick jewelry, fantastic. Good clean fun and free. I always appreciate walking the night.

The smoke stank in our house at midnight. The next day people all over the city awoke with burning eyes and the ennuie of ill portent and strange colored skies mixed with the hangover of toxic sky breathing sat down on your chest.
