The girls were a week ahead of me and on a fantastic roll. Ilse’s pix are amazing of Route 66 through Arizona. I’m promised a return trip there. I joined in at Albaquerque after a mad week of work in LA. The fates were happy that the family was back together and they sang nicely as we stumbled upon this rather magisterial camp sight after visiting the coolest – all adobe – cathedral I’ve ever been too. It was like a puppet theater. I quietly gave thanks and the Hemingway Padre gave us blessings for a good ‘pilgrimage’ as he called it. Yes, that’s what it is, and we happy pilgrims are blessed from the get go.
