Here’s the doors of perception that my Morrison life has led me to. Huxley would approve, for it’s all been a Lewis Carroll romp down the bunny hole.
We’re just getting finer and finer.
A week of summer Science Camp and the scientific method is being applied to all and sundry. It’s all about dreaming up signature uses for quotidian items. It’s a big part of the artistic process in our family too.
Sandy’s all curly at the end. ‘Tell me about it,….” and then they forget the word Stud. They don’t forget those curls though.
Bindi jumped off the high dive a couple weeks ago. I said, Yeah you just go up there and run off the end. Didn’t expect her to really do it. So I played it cool. Yeah, just run off, no problem. Didn’t even look up as I told her. Then out of the corner of my eye I see this kid flying through the air and I realize, that’s my girl! So today, I handed her pliers to see how far she’d go with them. The tooth is still there as of this evening. She’s mentioned that maybe I could pull it while she’s asleep so she wont feel it and can just wake up to the dough under her pillow.

Funny, that feeling, when it’s come all the way around to realize it again, that when I touch that shutter button I have no sense of where and how far out I’m actually sending the signal of my moment.
