Karma Laundering Getaway
Corrizo Plain is splendid piece of lost CA a few hours out of town. You head out over the Grapevine and then go left up into the hills. Spring is aflame right now in the gentle yet prehistoric landscape. Underfoot is the San Andreas fault, so bigger things are constantly promised against the calming scenery. You bush camp in at midnight and wake to dawn that restores all that is animal in you. Then the day proceeds with adventures heaped upon themselves. You leave finally out one of the most lovely CA drives down HWY 58 through the top of the Los Padres Forest, through Santa Margarita cowboy town, to the coast at San Luis Obisbo and the hot springs at Avila Beach. Dig the whole photoshow of our trip here.

The pics are so beautiful! Where is this place exactly?? How were you able to camp there… it doesn’t look like it’s a ‘campground’, per se?? It looks so hidden, like you all are the only ones around for miles!
I am taking some time today to relax via Meeno’s pics….
