When we used to sell our eggs to a local B&B, the owner wanted pictures of our hens so she could put them up in the place. We had six or seven hens at the time, and every one of them laid a different-looking eggs, so we could pick up the eggs and know who laid each one. The B&B owner got a charge out of the fact that we actually used to write the hen’s name on each egg!
